I, Dr L.A. Schreiber , the Minister of Home Affairs, under the powers vested in me under section 4(3)(a) of the Recognition of Customary Marriages Act, 1998 (Act No. 120 of 1998), hereby determine the 1st of September 2024 to the 31st of August 2026 as the date on which a customary marriage may be registered.
