The construction sector includes all building, civil engineering and related activities (which are performed in an Office, on site, in a workshop or factory) associated with the design of, planning for, preparation for, and the building, construction, erection, fitting, installation, completion, maintenance and repair of buildings, structures, factories, dam walls, weirs, reservoirs, pipelines, canals, tunnels, roads, runways, driveways, and parking areas, as well as building and civil engineering infrastructure. It includes, but is not limited to the following activities as outlined in the regulation 316 of the Act as amended on 31 March 2005 and occupations:
