Chapter 5 : Enforcement of Act

Purchase

(1)	A complaint may not be referred or made more than three years after—

(a)	the act or omission that is the cause of the complaint;

(b)	the date on which the Regulator became aware, or ought reasonably to have been aware, of the cause of the complaint; or

(c)	in the case of a course of conduct or continuing practice, the date that the conduct or practice ceased.

(2)	A complaint may not be referred against any person who is or has been a respondent in proceedings under another section of this Act relating substantially to the same conduct.
