Chapter 5 : Official Policies on, and Declaration, Use and Protection of, National Roads

Purchase

(1)	The Agency may divert storm-water from or under a national road onto any land but must pay compensation for any damage caused by the diversion of the storm-water except in the circumstances mentioned in subsection (2).

(2)	Where a township is established on land adjoining a national road, the person establishing the township must receive and dispose of the storm-water discharged or diverted from the national road, and the Agency will not be liable for any damage caused in the township by the storm-water.
