The Act has been amended by the Explosives Amendment Act, published in Government Gazette No. G 15356 dated 17 October 2008.
The Explosives Act, 2003 (Act No. 15 of 2003) has been amended by section 68 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, 2007 (Act No. 32 of 2007), Government Gazette 30599, Notice No. 1224, dated 14 December 2007.
The Explosives Act, 2003 (Act 15 of 2003) has been added to the site. The Act was gazetted on 8 January, 2004 in GG 25893.
The Explosives Bill, 2002 has been added to the Act to allow for easy comparison of the two.
The Explosives Act, 1956, was added to the site on 23 June 2000 and is completely up to date, including all Schedules and Regulations. The last update to this Act being the Explosives Amendment Act, 1997, came into operation on 8 May 1998.
