| (1) | An aerodrome meteorological office or MWO designated by the meteorological service provider shall supply, upon request. meteorological information to a relevant search and rescue centre for the purposes of search and rescue services. |
| (2) | The manner in which meteorological information is to be supplied in terms of subregulation (1) shall be agreed between an aerodrome meteorological office or MWO and a relevant search and rescue centre. |
| (3) | An aerodrome meteorological office or MWO shall maintain liaison with a search and rescue services unit throughout a search and rescue operation. |
| (4) | Meteorological information to be provided for search and rescue operation shall be as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 174. |
