1)	Any person appointed as an employee of the Commission may become a member of the Government Employees’ Pension Fund contemplated in section 2 of the Government Employees’ Pension Law, 1996 (Proclamation No. 21 of 1996).

2)	An employee of the Commission who becomes a member of that pension fund is entitled to pension and retirement benefits as if that person were an official in the public service.
