Prosthetic Feet

Rules:

All codes for feet are inclusive of the spectra sock and cosmetic foot cover

All feet are inclusive of the foot adapter except: SACH, Single axis, ESAR carbon pylon, Symes and Chopart Active suspension feet includes any additions to the foot for the suspension system to function (excluding parts connected to the socket, and between the socket and foot)

The AMPPRO test determines the activity level of the patient (k-level)

Spectra socks, cosmetic foot covers and soles are acknowledged as consumables as per Gazette guidelines

Warrantees should be honoured as per supplier warrantee period, not less than 24 months

Only out of warrantee costs may be considered for funding where criteria is met, as per prescribed Gazette replacement period

"Special criteria" items requires detailed motivation from MSP and will be adjudicated based on merit and internal

criteria
