(1) | No registered society shall carry on any business other than the business connected with the objects for which a friendly society may be established as set out in section two: Provided that the Authority may approve of a society carrying on such other business on such conditions and for such period as he may determine if the Authority is satisfied that this is necessary in order to safeguard an investment made by the society. |
