Chapter 1 : Definitions, Application and Objects of Act

1)	This Act applies to all education institutions, which have been established, declared or registered under the –

a)	South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996);

b)	Further Education and Training Colleges Act 2006 (Act No. 16 of 2006); or

c)	Adult Basic Education and Training Act, 2000 (Act No. 52 of 2000).
