9. Termination of employment

9.3. Service certificates

 

(1) An employer will issue an employee leaving his service with a service certificate in the form of Annexure A.

 

(2) The employer will keep a copy of every service certificate and forward a further copy to the Council.

 

(3) Before employing an employee, an employer will require that he produce a service certificate in the form of Annexure A from his previous employer or a certificate from the Council as proof of his previous experience.
