The results of the ante mortem examination, primary meat inspection and secondary meat inspection must be recorded, and where zoonotic and controlled diseases, contemplated in the Animal Diseases Act, 1984 (Act No. 35 of 1984), are diagnosed, the local state veterinarian must be notified on the day of slaughter.
