A safety officer, a safety appointee, a safety representative or a safety committee or any member thereof, as referred to in section 355A, shall not incur any civil liability by reason of the fact that he failed to do anything which he should have done in terms of the provisions of sections 3, 9(5), 223, 259, 264, 313, 343ter, 355A, 356 and 356ter, read with section 2.
