| (1) | The Minister must appoint, from the non-executive members of the Board, a chairperson and a deputy chairperson of the Board. |
(2)
| (a) | If the chairperson of the Board is absent or unable to perform any function of the chairperson, the deputy chairperson acts in the chairperson’s place. |
| (b) | If both the chairperson and deputy chairperson of the Board are absent or unable to perform any function of the chairperson, the Board may designate any other non-executive member of the Board to act as chairperson during such absence or incapacity. |
