CIPC: Annual Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey and Report
Brought to you by SA Accounting Academy: The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has initiated a formal stakeholder segmentation and satisfaction baseline survey to assess its progress toward becoming a customer-centric organisation.
In terms of its service delivery mandate under the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, the CIPC has appointed Digital Republic as the service provider to facilitate this process. The project, which will run for a duration of six months, involves conducting a satisfaction baseline survey and compiling a report that includes a framework for improvement and implementation.
The scope of the survey covers the CIPC’s core functions, including:
- The registration of companies, close corporations, and cooperatives;
- The registration of intellectual property rights;
- The disclosure of information; and
- Dispute resolution arising from infringements of registered rights.
The CIPC has requested that stakeholders, including professional practitioners and business owners, cooperate with Digital Republic during the data collection phase. A formal notice regarding the survey and the legitimacy of the service provider has been issued to ensure transparency during the engagement process.
