The Western Cape High Court has declared the procurement processes and service level agreements for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme student funding payment system unlawful and invalid. National Treasury has extended the deadline for public comments on the draft General Public Procurement Regulations, 2026, to 15 July 2026.
