Parliament has called for public comment on four legislative proposals, including amendments to the Income Tax Act and the repeal of the Municipal Demarcation Act, with a submission deadline of 30 June 2025. The Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development has invited written submissions on the Judicial Matters Amendment Bill, with a deadline of 10 July 2025. Parliament is currently processing 36 Bills, including replacement legislation tabled alongside the revised 2025/26 Budget. The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) Appropriations Committee has invited public comment on the replacement 2025 Division of Revenue and Appropriation Bills, alongside the Public Sector Pension & Related Payments Bill.
